Where do I begin…Angel has been an inspiration, mentor, friend, sister, intercessor, and the list goes on for me! Angel you have a calling on your life that CAN NOT and WILL NOT be “contained”. I am honored to sit back and watch as God’s plan for you and your life unfolds and will continue to unfold! I am a witness to the many people who have come in contact with you or come into your life hurt, weak, in need of prayer, or a shoulder, or a makeover :0) and you will give them a word (or two), a shoulder, pray with them, give them that extra push they need to fly free, or help them to finally see that beauty buried so deep within them that it shocks them to know that they already have what it takes to be beautiful or confident…looking back at when we first met, it brings tears to my eyes because it was so out of the ordinary and beautiful…NOTHING but God! That day that I was led to go into the police department, I stepped in and said to myself...“What am I doing here?” so I started to walk out and then I walked back and just stood at the window, and soon enough you came up to the window and said “Can I help you?” and I’m thinking now what…and soon enough words just started flowing from my mouth and from yours and we noticed that we had so much in common that it was absolutely unbelievable! It was as if we couldn’t have avoided coming in contact with each other if we wanted to! So as 30 minutes rolled by and tears were shed and we’d laughed as if we had known each other for years…it was that day that I knew that I had not only gained a friend but I had gained a true sister forever! Angel you have shown me how to be a confident woman, confident in my own skin and body, as well as been there like a true sister should and I love you so much for being you and I am so excited for the day that the world gets to see what I see and all of Chick Chat see’s…a TRUE Angel, truly sent with a purpose and a work that is pure, and straight from the heart of Angel Tucker-Carr! ;0) Love ya! -Quanda aka Mz. Thank you so much for doing my make up and hair yesterday…I was looking at the pictures on the camera after we were done and I came to the picture of me after you were finished and I asked Cassey (Who is that?...then I said Oh that is me). Thank you for being you and for bringing out the beauty in me. I had so much fun yesterday and will not forget that day for a long time, thank you for that. When I met Mrs. Angel Carr I knew that this would be one person to enter my life and help me to completely change the way I see myself. I remember being a senior in high school and attending TCC and in desperate need of a job that would work with my basketball schedule. After talking to her about my position Angel decided to help me out and every since that day I knew that she would always be a part of my life. As the years went on I never lost contact with her. She is like a second mom to me and one of my best friends. Angel has been a shoulder when I needed to cry and an ear when I needed someone to listen. She has never judged me on anything that I have said or done. She has always encouraged me and given me words of wisdom. I will never forget when I was going thru more things then I felt that I could handle. She told me to write down everyone’s name that I need God to remove from my life and place them in my Bible. As I placed them there she told me to pray for them everyday. Everyday I read my Bible and prayed for these people. God started showing me a lot of things about me and those people. Soon he began to remove those people and strengthen me. I thank God for Angel everyday because I know that if she had not been a part of my life I don’t know where I would be right now. She has become my Angel that God has sent to me for the times when I just want to give up. I hear her voice encouraging me to continue on with whatever I have going on and not to give up. Working on non-profit organization.
A while back, I had to cut all my hair off because it had been over-processed (my fault). I was really feeling down and not very confident because my long hair was now only an inch short all over. I work close with Angel and she could see what I was going though. She told me that she could help me with my hair and make me feel like "my old self" again. She went with me to assist in picking out the right hair pieces ('cause this girl has no clue on this stuff). She took time at the end of our work day to sit and work on my hair and it turned out more beautiful that I would have ever imagined. We both look back and wish we would have take some before and after pics. Angel is a jewel! She has become such a blessing in my everyday! Thanks Angel for your big heart and generous ways! God blessed you with a very great talent...now it is time to LET IT SHINE!! Your sister in Christ, Karen
